As a mountaineer, I learned a great deal about life on the mountains and realized the importance of not just physical strength, but also strong mental and emotional abilities.

While we tend to focus on external forces that challenge or threaten us, the truth is that we all have a "Mountain Within" that we need to climb and conquer.

It may be challenges we face in daily life, at work, or in our relationships. It may be fears or unhealed parts of ourselves that prevent us from discovering our true selves and purpose.


Science has shown that nature reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, elevates mood, and has the power to heal our minds, bodies, and souls.

This is why The Mountain Within (TMW) was created.


A pioneer and first-of-its-kind outdoor healing program, TMW helps you live a life of significance by overcoming your challenges in an innovative and creative way. It helps you realize what you need to heal and overcome, making the mountains you climb easier and more rewarding.


TMW engages the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. It gets you outside, providing a change of scenery or environment to support a change in perspective. It challenges you to push past self-perceived limitations, form a deeper relationship with yourself and nature, and open up to the signs, symbols, and synchronicities that nature provides.

You will feel noticeably more open, grounded, and balanced when you are outside, connected to something greater than yourself.


While the TMW program involves:

  • Engaging in mindfulness practices in nature

  • Opening up your senses and becoming aware of your personal power in the outdoors

  • Challenging and pushing past your limits through hiking

  • Discovering metaphors for life, health, death, resilience, and more in nature

  • Understanding the power of your breath

  • Disconnecting from technology and daily routines, slowing down to "earth time"

  • Practicing mindful creativity by creating art within the natural world

  • Tuning inwards using Forest Bathing, Grounding, Meditation, Mindfulness, and Art Therapy to heal


The Mountain Within is offered in two variants:

  1. Healing through Hiking

    A single-day outdoor healing excursion that may include a combination of activities like:

    • Forest Bathing & Hiking

    • Grounding and Meditation

    • Yoga

    • Intuitive Energy Healing

    • Chakra Balancing

    • Mentorship & Coaching

    • Art Therapy


  2. Tuning Inwards: Healing through Nature

    A multi-day outdoor healing retreat focused on healing through adventure. This outdoor healing adventure puts you in touch with nature and exposes you to the great outdoors.


Both programs offer a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself and nature, helping you climb your personal "mountain" with confidence and clarity.
